The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is a unique component of the Data Science & Analytics degree program. Students will gain experience during two co-operative work terms (see below). With over 3,500 employers in the employer database, students will be provided real job opportunities that complement their academic studies.
Students in their final two years of the DSA program enrol in two courses specific to professional practices. They also benefit from at least one co–op work–term, an experience highly valued by both students and employers. Our industry partners are committed to providing meaningful work assignments. Students will participate in two work terms.
Students in the co–op option take WTP200 (Co–op Professional Practice) in the semester preceding their first co–op work–term, and WTR200 (Co–op Integration and Career Planning) in the semester following their first co–op work–term.
The current co-op fee is $495 per work-term and it is billed upon acceptance into the co-op program. If a program contains more than one work-term, the co-op fee is billed in the semester prior to each subsequent work-term.
If you have further questions you may contact the Co-op program coordinator listed below.
